PRARAMBH (Fresher Party)-2016

HRIST organized a fresher party, PRARAMBH 2016 on WEDNESDAY, 04 Sept. 2016. The programme was organized by BBA and BCA Senior students to welcome their junior students. All the students were in the party mood and prepared themselves for various activities like singing, dancing and skit etc. Mr. HIMANSHU MISHRA & Ms. SIMRAN RAWAT of BBA 1st YEAR and PRIYANSHI TYAGI & AKASH TOMAR of BCA 1st Year were selected as Mr.and Ms. Fresher 2016. The Chief guest of the programme Er. Anil Agarwal, Chairman of HRIT Group of Institutions and Dr. Rajeev Sijariya, Director OF HRIST were also there to welcome the newcomers.

DEEPAWALI MELA(DIPOTSAWA)-16

Deepawali the festival of lights was celebrated in HRIST Institute by organizing Deewali Mela-16 on 6th and 7th Nov 2016. The Mela was inaugurated by Er. Anil Agarwal, Chairman of HRIT Group of Institutions, Mr. Anjul Agarwal & Ms. Vaishali Agarwal, Ghaziabad by cutting the ribbon followed by Saraswati Vandana Director Dr. Ranjit Singh, Dr. Rajive Sijaria, and others with all faculty members and staff were present to celebrate the grand festive movement. On 6th Nev many stalls was up by students, there were many type of stalls such as eatables like golgappe, sweets, momoes, etc. The game stalls like ring game badminton etc., student’s parents were also invited. In this mela, all of them enjoyed the most. Many other competitions were also organized like Kandil Making, Kavi Sammelan, Rangoli, collage, best out of waste, ad mad show etc. On 7th Nov the prize (Shields’) were distributed to winner and runner up. And certificates were distributed to all participants.

 

One day workshop

on

“Development of Java Projects & Matlab Applicaions”

On 26/Sep/15, H.R Institute of Science and Technology organised one day workshop on “Development of Java Projects & Matlab Applicaions” with collboration of DUCAT to nourish the sutdents as per the industry requrement. Ther primary aim of this workshop is to bring technical knowledge across java and the impact of Matlab in the indusry and academics. Java is an open source high level simple as well as object oriented progrmamming language. This workshop was constructive for all the studetns but are more requisite for the MCA and third year students of BCA who is in quest for placement. The entire session was covered in two parts-Theory and Practical session. Complete session from start till end was interactive one, where the students raised doubts and ask multiple questions from the speakers.

 

 TRADE FAIR-2016

A tour (Visit to 35th season of Indian International Trade Fair ) of MBA/MCA & BBA/BCA batches was made to Trade fair -2016, Delhi from 15-11-15 to 2-11-14 along with faculty members Mr. Ajay Gangele, Ms. Himani Goel, Ms. Rishu Jain, Mr. Ankur Bhama & Mr.Atul Rai by college bus. The tour aimed for giving an exposure of practical work life situation where crafts is an annual event that highlight some of the finest handloom and handicraft traditions of the different countries. It is coordinated by Mr. Ms. Himani Goel and Ms. Rishu jain.

The India International Trade Fair (November 15 -27 , 2016) has been attracting a large crowds. There were 40 students who visited the fair. Students visited different sectors like Consumer Products: home furnishings and made-ups,Cosmetics, Apparel Accessories, Floor Coverings, Handicrafts, Wooden Furniture, Houseware items, utensils, Cotton Textiles, silk items, Foods, ceramics, carpets, Plastic & rubber products, coir products, cosmetics, jute & textiles, food & agro products, Fashion Accessories, handicrafts, rice, spices, processed foods, jute products, dry fruits, bone china ware items. Service Sectors: Financial services & banking and insurance services, solar and bio gas technologies. Women Entrepreneurs’ is an act of business ownership and business creation that empowers women economically, increases their economic strength and position in the society.

A group of students selected for the purpose started from college campus at about 8.30 A.M.and came back at 6.00 P.M. in the college campus with memorable and learning experience of the visit.

ORIENTATION PROGRAM OF BBA & BCA FIRST SEMESTER SESSION 2015

H. R. Institute of Science & Technology conducted Orientation Program of BBA & BCA First Semester – Session 2016 for FOUR days from 11 AUG’15 to 14 AUG’15. In this program students and Faculty- Speakers participated with very enthusiasm and in cordial atmosphere.

FIRST day students were welcomed by director (HRIST) for selecting ‘Professional Career’ and taking admission in BBA/BCA at HRIST. They were told about the purpose of ‘Orientation Program’ and made aware about HRIST and Campus through Power-Point presentation. Later on in the session students introduced themselves to their class-mates in order to be familiar with each other at the earliest.

On SECOND day students were explained the pre-requisites of professional courses and importance of professional education. They were also informed about various University norms regarding Admission, Registration, Enrolment, Internal assessment, Examination, Pass-scheme, re-registration, Back Papers scheme etc. through Power-point presentation, examples of Senior Students and interaction by Experienced Senior Faculty. Later on Students visited Computers Lab and were made aware about LAB-rules for allotment of computer and its starting and closing. They were also explained the importance of Computer proficiency in life. Some of the students made very nice power-point presentations which were shown to other students and students who made were appreciated in front of other students and faculties.

On THIRD day students were informed about Library and its rules with the importance of reading books, magazines, News Papers and Journals through Power-point presentation. Students were also informed about their syllabus, its importance and introduced with concerned faculties. Later in the session students were explained the importance of communication and familiarized with communication games by senior faculty.

 

On the FOURTH and concluding day, students were told about Do’s and Dont’s related with Discipline issues, Class room and Campus behavior. They were also introduced with non-academic persons of the institutes like accounts, administration, maintenance etc. Students were also familiarized with various Clubs like Marketing, Finance, HR, IT and were explained about various activities of these clubs going to be in future in the Institute for their personality development and enhancement of employability. Students were introduced with Training and Placement Officer of the Institute who informed them about career prospects with focused approach after BBA / BCA and also insisted them to develop certain skills among themselves in order to enhance their employability for better career. Students were also informed about various competitive avenues for their career. Students were also introduced with their senior students who shared their experiences with them. Later on orientation-program session was concluded by Director (HRIST) with a message to the students to be attentive, careful and follow the instructions / messages given during the program and also coming to be in the period of their stay in the Institute for their better career growth.

Mega placement drive WIPRO Technologies

A Mega placement drive for the students of BCA was held in the premises of HRIST in joint venture with CCS University, Meerut to place their students in WIPRO Technologies. The college is constantly working to enhance the employability of its students by including value added skill development courses in addition to the University curriculum. In the same line prior to WIPRO Technology Drive, HRIST provided training sessions from 16/3/15 to 22/3/15. A Large number of students from different institutes had participated in the same Hon’ble Chairman Er. Anil Aggarwal and Director General Dr. V.K. Jain of HRITGI also addressed to the students. Training on Group discussion, HR Round Mathematical Skills, Quantitative Aptitude were given to the students by the most efficient faculty members during various sessions.

In the valedictory function Vice Chairman Mr. Anjul Aggarwal and Dr. Rajeev Sijariya, Director of HRIST grace the occasion and distributed the WIPRO Training Certificates to the participants.

 On 25/3/15 WIPRO Mega placement drive was conducted in HRIST Ghaziabad. Pro Vice chancellor Dr. H.S Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. It is all set to finalize HRIST as Nodal center of CCS University placement drives for BBA & BCA. Around 530 Students from 49 various institutes had participated in this drive. Out of which 25 number of students were selected and placed in WIPRO Technologies. We are also proud on our 4 students who are Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Mr. Daksh Kohli, Mr. Himanshu Budhakoti & Mr. Nishant Verma were also among selected students.

Mr. Rahul Bhatia, North India Head of WIPRO Technologies and his team were quite satisfied with the event and promised to visit our Institution for such placement drives.
